An Atr😤cious Misdiagn🤥sis of………. The Gl🙌rious Gift of T🔥ngues

If you are one of the many that have been misled to believe that the Holy Spiritual gift of tongues is only properly represented when the words are easily understood by others, as in, when the Holy Spiritual gift of tongues in actively operating in and through a person, the words proceeding from them must be able to be identified clearly as an earthly (dialect/language), your perception of this magnificent yet mysterious gift is not rooted in the Truth.

Therefore, I encourage all of you to return to the New Testament books written to the Corinthians through (Saul/Paul) and apply yourself more patiently to understand through diligence of study. But also, that your patience and diligence of study would be pursued with a pure desire to know the Truth regardless of the outcome, and you should ask our Creator to assist you to understand properly what is being revealed to you.

For truly, it only requires one passage alone to reveal that the gift of tongues active among believers does not necessarily need to be clearly understood by those around us for it to be that genuine gift.

As revealed through:

1 Corinthians 14:23

Therefore, if the whole church gathers together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and there enter in among you those who are uninformed or unbelievers, will they not say that you are out of your mind?

Don’t focus on what he says about “unbelievers,” what must be understood is that simply because one idea is communicated, it does not define the fullness of what is being revealed. Notice how he says, “will they not say you are out of your mind?” Well, why would they say or think such a thing? Is it because everyone is speaking with clearly understood Earthly (dialect/languages)? Certainly not!

So then, is (Saul/Paul) telling us that the issue is because the Holy Spiritual gift of tongues is producing such a variety of different tongues? Certainly not, that is why in the verse before this it is written in this way:

1 Corinthians 14:22

Therefore, tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe (but to unbelievers); but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe.

So, we must ask the question, what sort of a spectacular sign would it be for unbelievers to gather with the church and hear a bunch of people praying in various Earthly (dialects/tongues)? If we are being honest, it wouldn’t be much of a sign that some powerful work of our Creator was occurring among those people at all!

So then, what is being relayed through (Saul/Paul) as observed through the historical record of 1 Corinthians 14:22-23, is a need for proper spiritual etiquette which carries with it order.

This is why we must have proper discernment, and not all are intended to be identified as instructors through which the knowledge of Truth is (manifested= clearly revealed). As it we are encouraged through:

James 3:1-6

My brothers, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. 2 For, we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Likewise, the tongue is a small member of our physical body and yet boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 Likewise our tongues when utilized improperly, are able to cause much damage, and produce an abundance of iniquity.

As a person that has received the gift of tongues, I agree that our Creator is able to utilize distinctive Earthly (dialects/ languages) through the active gift of tongues, to enable us to speak with a distinctive (dialect/language) unknown to us as a sign to someone to get their attention and communicate directly to them. That is part of what we observe happening on the “day of pentacost.”

As revealed through the historical record of:

Acts 2:7-11

Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 So, how is it that we hear the speaking in our own languages in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.”

And, as amazing as it would be to observe such an incredibly miraculous event, if we are being honest, we must recognize that the historical record does not say that the only languages those 120 disciples spoke with on that “day of pentacost,” were the languages identified with those 18 specific (nations/ethnicities) mentioned in that record of Acts 2:7-11. There were 120 disciples in that upper room after all, and they were all operating in the Holy Spiritual gift of tongues.

Still yet, that is not the fullness of what the Holy Spiritual gift of tongues is for, and if we read with diligence and patience what is revealed to us through (Saul/Paul), we are able to understand the various applications that our Creator has intended that gift for. Which, if I am being completely straightforward, the gift is as much if not noticeably more purposed to keep the person that has the gift in alignment with the mind of our Creator, to strengthen us in our (inward parts/soul), to empower us for ministry purposes, because as it is revealed:

I Corinthians 14:4

He who speaks in a tongue (edifies himself), but he who prophesies edifies the church.

Also:

1 Corinthians 14:28

But, if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him (speak to himself and to God).

So, what exactly is the meaning of

speak to himself and to God?

Is it not true that people when thinking to themselves often speak audibly? So, is (Saul/Paul) telling us that unless the tongue spoken is able to be interpreted in that moment the carrier of the gift should be totally silent? Certainly not!

He is telling us that we must be mindful of the utilization of all the gifts. Specifically regarding tongues, we must learn when a tongue is meant to be shared between only us and our Creator, and when it is meant to be utilized as a tool corporately to perform ministry involving others.

As one who received that gift 23 years ago whom the gift has been often active in throughout those 23 years, I am able to tell you with surety that the gift of tongues is able to be operated in at a low volume as quiet as a whisper, between ourselves and our blessed Creator. However, I have also observed this gift being utilized in a corporate setting, in which a tongue emerged from within me as one speaking clearly with a loud voice, hundreds went silent, and then a couple moments later another member of the body received interpretation and spoke was led to speak the interpretation out loud, and this led to a specific person being powerfully (delivered/healed) at that meeting 😇🙌.

And yes, one individual is able to both speak in a Holy Spiritual tongue and receive the interpretation. I myself have experienced that on several occassions, receiving words of knowledge and prophecy.

We see (Saul/Paul) giving place to this as reality through:

1 Corinthians 14:6

But now, brethren, if I arrive to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you (unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching?)

So, (Saul/Paul) is actually telling us that if we are understanding the gift properly, it is able to be utilized and applied so that our Creator is able to provide (revelation, knowledge, prophecy) through it, which would ultimately be purposed for our instruction so that we are able to be edified.

I have learned through patience and submission to our Creator, that if our intention is pure, desiring those gifts to be truly for His glory, He will show us exactly how all the giftings are intended to function, in alignment with His (mind/will).

Furthermore, it is revealed through (Saul/Paul):

1 Corinthians 14:2

For, he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but (to God), because no one understands him. However, in the spirit he (speaks mysteries).

Once again, he tells us no one understands a person speaking in tongues, (of course this does not include God, as that passage denotes). Moreover, does he say they are wrong for doing it? That they are in error or false? Certainly not!

Too many people jump on the bandwagon of bashing this awesome, powerful gift. A gift identified as 2nd only to prophesy when it is accompanied by interpretation. So, why is it so heavily maligned?

It is because anti-Christ spirits are either unable to understand it, or if they understand, perhaps they are more angry about it because they are unable to do anything about it, because those Holy Spiritual encrypted prayers have a private link directly to our Creator, and they know that the outcome of those Holy Spiritually encrypted prayers bring about destruction of the kingdom of darkness and its evil pursuits against mankind. Evil pursuits against those who already have the gift, and those that don’t have the gift but are able to be ministered to through the proper application of that gift.

So, what we find are people being utilized by anti-Christ spirits as accusers of those operating in that gift, those anti-Christ spirits provoking those deceived souls to be confused and or jealous.

And this is one of the ways we are able to see this passage being proven:

Revelation 12:10

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, strength, the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have arrived. For, (the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night), has been cast down.

So, “in a beautiful little nutshell,” whether an encrypted language composed of hundreds of languages, or one specific uniform language spoken by someone who’s native language is not that language, and they don’t have much if any understanding about that language. The gift of tongues is a powerful and versatile gift, being utilized by our Creator in a variety of ways. A gift that is so beneficial and useful that (Saul/Paul) himself desires all believers would we possessors of that gift if possible.

Revealed through:

1 Corinthians 14:5

I desire you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied. For, he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification.

I think this short article is effective at clearly revealing the truth about that gift, but I encourage all to study 1 Corinthians 14 diligently, patiently, and thoroughly, with a pure intent to know and understand the actual purpose our Creator has provided that Holy Spiritual gifting. It is vital for us to do so, lest we be led astray by false teachers, false prophets, false Christs, which desire us to be miserable, and to prevent us from reaching our full potential and fulfilling the destiny we have been created for.
